Learning to read academic texts critically, and create purposeful annotations throughout the reading, will propel students into a level of reading comprehension that will not only improve their assessment scores, but will also make them better readers and writers. These incredibly useful skills will serve your students well in all core classes. Teachers will see specific reading and note-taking strategies for each core content, along with techniques that can be overlapped in cross-curricular curriculum.
