About me
I have been in the education field since 2004 in both the private and public sector. I received my bachelors degree in English from Mary Baldwin University in Staunton, Virginia, a masters in higher education from the University of Houston, and another masters in education administration from A&M University at Commerce. I have served as a middle and high school teacher, an assistant principal, and a director over the course of my 20 years in education. My areas of specialization include closing the student achievement gap, the Montessori method, project-based learning, data analysis, and Southern gothic and British literature.
